Process Prior To Sales
- Onsite measure & discussion: After receiving our email quote, we will organize our registered builder to come out and visit for a site measure up and discussion regarding your exact needs and requirements.
- Formal Quote: Our registered builder will email you a formal quote. If happy with this quote we will proceed with plans and permits for your project.
Plans & Permits Process
Once deciding to go ahead with your project, the process to complete all work is typically:
- House Plans: We receive plans of the house from you, if you have no plans are available please request from council.
- Mudmap: Depending on agreed pricing, you will submit a mudmap (plan & elevation of project including photos) or will come out onsite and complete a full sites measure up for the draftsman.
- Draft Plans: Your project plans are drawn up and completed by one of our professional draftsman. Plans will then be emailed to you to confirm that they are correct or if any changes are required. At this stage an invoice is sent for the plans and building permit.
- Document Signing: Once plans are all correct, we email you the required building permit documents for you to sign of which are then sent to the surevyor including the plans.
- Surveyor Requirements: At this stage the surveyor may require further information. If this is the case, this is discussed with you on how to move forward in obtaining the further information and or permits.
- Building Contract: Once the surveyor has all required documents, you sign a contract with our builder. This is sent to the surveyor and the the building permit is granted and obtained.
- Start Date: In conjunction with the our builder, an exact project start date will be given.
Additional Notes
The cost of plans & permit covers general building plans, building permit and associated paperwork only. If other test, document or permits are required by council in regards to residential code requirements, town planning, easements, etc, these will be discussed and an estimate given.
