As we are fully qualified carpenter’s we off many additional services including other trades where required.
Does your company get the alfresco plans and permits for me or do I have to go elsewhere?
We offer full services regarding writing up plans and obtaining all permits required.
Is there planning and or other permits I may need?
A planning permit, report and consent, over easement permission may also be required in addition to your building permit. We can help you with all of these.
Do I need a building permit for my alfresco?
Yes, all alfrescos require a building permit.
Do you take away all the rubbish and building materials away after you have finished the build?
Yes, we always leave your property as clean as it was when we arrived.
What are other options can I add to my alfresco?
As alfrescos are an outdoor room to some extent, the number of materials, features and products that can be added is quite broad. These include all type of posts & pillars, different roof structures (as stated above), various types of internal roofing including plaster, skylights, downlights, heaters, fans, end feature [...]
I would like as much light coming into the house once the alfresco is built, what is the best way to achieve this?
Many people have either lining boards or plaster in their alfresco roof therefore the best way to achieve maximum light is by using skylights.
What type of roofing can I choose for my alfresco?
Roofing comes in a wide variety of materials, systems and profiles. These include colourbond, concrete & terracotta tiles, high grade plastics, shingle roof & zincalume steel.
