One item to note before buying a aluminium kit especially one that has louvers that shut as this is classed as a verandah, is it code compliant?
Does it meet Australian building regulations, and does it have the necessary compliance certificates? This is especially important as most pergolas that have a roof that shuts are classed as a verandah (vergola) and will need a building permit.
